It is an app that makes it fast and easy to add a new contact or look up an existing one. In this screencast tutorial, I do a walk thru of one of my favorite Mac Applications, Cardhop by Flexibits, Inc. You can choose the default behavior in Cardhop’s preferences, or switch per call by pressing Option-Return. For more advanced applications, we also have our Address Book API available Cardhop: Search, add, edit, and interact with your contacts while still having fun. Cardhop understands quite a few commands for everyday interactions with contacts: call Tim calls the contact via your iPhone through Continuity or Wi-Fi Calling, or sends the call to a phone paired with the Mac via Bluetooth. It can easily be plugged into your website in less than 5 minutes using our simple copy/paste HTML widget. Use these addresses to Invite Friends, Find Friends, or whatever application you need.

The notes section with contacts is virtually hidden in other apps including the built-in app, but Cardhop promotes it to a fixed position and not a hidden scroll-to-find section. – Full support for French, German, Italian, Spanish, English, and Japanese (including parsing and address/phone formats) Here’s what’s new in Cardhop 1.1 for Mac: New features include Smart Groups, custom printing, support for five languages total, and more. Now Cardhop is receiving its first big update since debuting in October. Working with contacts - like properly saving new entries from email with the right details and quickly recalling those contacts when needed - feels crippled on my Mac when Cardhop isn’t installed and running. Cardhop, from the makers of Fantastical, has quickly joined my list of must-have Mac apps since it launched last fall.
